Based in South Australia’s Adelaide Hills, our Hills Diverse Support team have a strong work ethic, we are family orientated and strive to provide a person-centred approach. We offer extensive experience in supporting participants with a wide range of abilities.

Mission & Vision

Our vision is to provide quality support that offers fun, inclusive and friendly programs, within and around the Adelaide Hills. We are passionate about empowering our participants and their families. We offer tailored individualised programs to promote independence, nurture well-being, and successfully fulfil goals for participants of all ages! Helping neurodiverse people with the life skills they need to feel included, fulfilled and a valuable part of their local community. We desire to motivate, inspire and unite in order to create a positive culture for diverse people.

Day Options

We run 50 weeks of the year offering our adult participants the opportunity to learn life skills through our cooking club, volunteering and social outings.

Saturday Adventure Club

Runs fortnightly throughout the year. Our adventures take us from the hills to the beach and anywhere in between.

School Holiday Club

Runs in the school holidays for school aged children, based in Mt Barker. We offer a program to suit all abilities with a focus on social skills and child-led activities.

Mentoring

We offer community support tailored to your needs for an individualised experience while working towards your independence and NDIS goals.

In-Home

We can assist you in your home, whether it be assistance with homeschooling, schedule implementation or life skills and person care.

Shana Wittmann

Co-Director & Support Worker

Shana possesses a unique blend of skills and knowledge, driven by her high level of proficiency and attention to detail. Her work ethic is highlighted through her reliable, honest, and energetic manner. Along with her strong interpersonal skills, she prides herself on her ability to build ongoing relationships.

From working in the disability swimming field for the education department, Shana went on to work in classroom support, which highlighted her passion for disability support work. Shana takes great satisfaction from being a part of each participant’s journey.

Theresa Macklin

Co-Director & Support Worker

Theresa offers a high level of proficiency, leadership, and experience in creating a team environment that promotes collaboration. Her commitment to providing a professional service is driven by the desire to improve the lives and personal development of participants. She has a diverse knowledge of AAC systems, software, and communication.

Initially working within an OSCH setting and working in the education sector with students with a disability, Theresa played a vital role in speech and language support, leading her to a therapy assistant role and eventually finding her career in disability support. Theresa takes great pleasure in the support she delivers.

Hills Diverse Support acknowledges the Peramangk and Kaurna people as the traditional owners of the land on which we live and work. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging as the Custodians of this ancient and beautiful land.
